Along with the upcoming LEGO® Fortnite sets, October 1st will also see the release of a Fortnite-themed BrickHeadz set. Unlike other LEGO BrickHeadz characters, the Brite Bomber set will be a ‘gift with purchase’ item, available starting October 1st. Brite Bomber was introduced during Fortnite’s Season 2 in 2017. She has since been featured in variant forms and was used as a prominent character for the launch of LEGO Fortnite. Her close association with LEGO Fortnite makes her an ideal character to become a Fortnite-themed BrickHeadz set. Here’s a closer look at the 254th LEGO BrickHeadz set.

BrickHeadz are tricky to review, if you’ve built one character then most others provide a similar build experience. The overall style and core of Brite Bomber are the same as other regular BrickHeadz characters. It’s the outer details which matter the most and these are combined to create both the stylised appearance of a BrickHeadz character along with those inspired by the source material. In Fortnite, Brite Bomber lives up to her name, with bright pink hair, purple shades and a Supply Llama design on her shirt. All of these have been included in the set.
The Llama shirt is created from a unique 1×4 printed brick, which is combined with other elements to create her tactical suit-like costume. Her pink hair isn’t as intricate as some other hairstyles seen on past BrickHeadz characters, but the way her ponytail is built is simple but looks great. Her glasses are a little on the large size, these are created by using a pair of Viking shields, each topped with a pale purple 2×2 round tile. The look is finished off with a pickaxe element. Although not included in the set, it would be easy to tweak the build to add your own ‘back bling’ should you want to.
BrickHeadz are a great LEGO medium to feature Fortnite characters and I’d like to see a few other iconic in-game skins become future sets. It would be a quick, easy and cheap way to continue the LEGO Fortnite theme between other playsets or adult display sets being released. The requirements to get the set aren’t fully confirmed but the free set will supposedly be available with any LEGO purchases not just LEGO Fortnite sets. The UK spend threshold hasn’t been confirmed for the US/EU will be $/€90. Insiders will get access to the GWP first between October 1st-3rd it will then be available for all between October 4th-7th. Once details are clarified, I’ll update the information here.
