LEGO IDEAS is launching a new contest known as “If We Could Turn Back Time”. All you have to do is build a creation with LEGO pieces that celebrate the iconic TV films and shows from the 1980s. 

Note that only approved IPs (intellectual properties) listed on the LEGO IDEAS IP checking tool are allowed for entry into the contest. Five entries will be made into the fan vote process. The winning entry from the fan vote will then be made into an official LEGO IDEAS set. This set will be made available for purchase at LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia).

The grand prize winner will receive 1% of total net sales of the item and 10 complimentary copies of the LEGO IDEAS set. They will also get credit and biography in the LEGO IDEAS set product.

The entries that make it into the Fan Vote will receive three LEGO sets including:

  • 21314 Tron: LEGACY 
  • 21328 Seinfeld 
  • 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine
