A guidebook with clear instructions on constructing four robot styles accompanies the set. This is a standout feature of the Sillbird STEM Building Toys, showcasing its versatility.

My kitten showed a keen interest in the Wall Robot too.

While each bag lacks a designated number, it seems that the blocks within each bag are organized according to the assembly steps. I made the mistake of opening all the bags and mixing the blocks together, leading to a lengthy search for the specific pieces I needed.

The Building Process

Each block is impeccably designed in high-quality plastic and seamlessly fits into one another. When connecting the pieces, you should hear a crisp click, ensuring a secure and satisfying assembly process.

I successfully built Version A – the Big Wall Robot. Here’s a sneak peek of the main engine featuring the on/off button.

No batteries are required for the engine of the Wall Robot. The thoughtful design includes two large motors and an intelligent, innovative main module motor, ensuring robust power for seamless operations. Equipped with a high-capacity rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the toy can run continuously for up to 40 minutes on a single charge. Charging is hassle-free – simply plug the USB cable into a wall socket, power bank, or computer outlet, providing a convenient and eco-friendly option for kids aged 8-10.

The guidebook is exceptionally detailed and easy to follow. It includes a section with a 1:1 image for some pieces, allowing you to compare the pieces to the image in the book, ensuring that you choose the right parts for the next step.

It’s important to pay attention to the color of the pieces to ensure you pick the right one during the assembly process.

Here’s how the Wall Robot looks after successfully connecting all the engines.

The following photos showcase Wall Robot in its halfway completed state during the building process.

The Complete Set

As a first-time block builder, the experience of completing Version A of the Wall Robot was both challenging and fulfilling. It took a total of 6 hours and 20 minutes to assemble the intricate pieces and witness the robot come to life. The level of challenge struck a perfect balance for beginners, providing a sense of accomplishment with each completed step.

The attention to detail in the Wall Robot is truly commendable. Notably, the robot’s eyes and transparent hoses emit light, dynamically changing colors in response to the direction of the remote control. This feature adds a captivating and interactive element to the overall design.

The Wall Robot is enriched with details that enhance the overall play experience. The rotating head, adjustable arms, gripping hands, and openable storage compartment add versatility to the robot’s functions. Furthermore, the stunt car’s large upgraded anti-slip grip track enables impressive headstands and standing 360° rotations while in motion, providing an exciting and dynamic aspect to the play features.

The App – iM.Master

The integration of remote and app control elevates the play experience to a whole new level. The robot toys can be controlled using the included remote control or through the dedicated app, providing four channels for front, back, left, and right movements. It’s important to note that to use the remote, you’ll need to insert 2 AA batteries (not included in the set). This dual-control feature adds versatility and excitement to the play options, allowing for a customized and engaging experience.

The dedicated app significantly broadens the possibilities with various play modes, encompassing Three-speed remote control, path mode, drive mode, gravity mode, and STEM programming mode.

This diversity enables kids to explore a wide range of entertaining gameplay options, fostering creativity and skill development. For a sneak peek, here’s a glimpse of how the app looks.
