Review: 40658-1 – Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama

Today’s set is based on the Star Wars Holiday Special.
No, don’t close the page just yet! I’m not talking about the infamous Holiday Special from 1978 (click at your own risk). This set is based on the LEGO version from 2020. The special features Life Day, a holiday celebrated in the Star Wars universe, eerily similar to earth’s Christmas celebrations. According to the 1978 version, Life Day originates from the Wookie planet Kashyyk and celebrates the values and tenets of Wookiee culture, including family, joy, and harmony. The tradition spread throughout the galaxy and is now celebrated by a lot of species and cultures. Despite being released in 2020, this is the first set fully based on the special, showing the celebration on board of the Millenium Falcon.
