Two new LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets revealed

Images have been revealed for two new LEGO Star Wars sets coming out later this year. Both sets feature the 25th anniversary branding and include an exclusive anniversary minifigure.

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV

LEGO is going way back with this one. All the way back to the opening of Episode IV and the first appearance of Darth Vader. It’s an iconic moment and I think the set is great. It’s a respectable size so hopefully the price isn’t insane when it is released here.

The included anniversary minifigure is Fives. If you know who that is you’ll be excited by it, but if you are a casual Star Wars fan that isn’t going to mean much to you.

75379 R2-D2

That’s right, another R2-D2. I feel like the last one only just came out (it was 2021).

I don’t think there is a lot to say here? It’s an R2-D2. Everybody loves R2.

The included anniversary set for this one is Darth Malak. It’s interesting how the included celebration minifigures have nothing to do with the actual set.
