Earlier this year it was revealed that musician Pharrell Williams would be using LEGO® elements in a animated film called Piece by Piece. Now the first trailer for that film has been released. It’s similar in style to The LEGO Movie films, with the world and characters all being built from LEGO bricks and minifigures. The film will also feature new music from Pharrell Williams. There’s also a rumoured set inspired by the film, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. The film will be released on October 11th. Check out the trailer below.

From Focus Features, PIECE BY PIECE was directed by Academy Award® winner Morgan Neville and produced by Neville and Caitrin Rogers (Tremolo Productions) alongside producers Pharrell Williams, Mimi Valdés, and Shani Saxon (i am OTHER). Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone are executive producing for the LEGO Group.
