One of the most popular aspects of the LEGO® Star Wars sets has to be the numerous LEGO recreations of popular Clone Troopers. They can be found in playsets, UCS sets and the much-loved Battle Pack, they can even be found free in LEGO magazines. But to amass enough to create an army often means buying multiple sets. Thankfully, the LEGO Group will soon begin testing a new version of the Minifigure Factory focused solely on LEGO Star Wars Clone Troopers. Although you won’t be able to customise them, you’ll be able to choose the head, torso, legs, blaster and of course, that all-important helmet. The BETA test will only include the standard Clone Troopers, but additional options will be added such as named characters like Captain Rex and Commander Cody plus troopers from the 501st, 212st and 104th Garrisons. It’s set to go live in North America later this week ahead of ‘May the 4th’, until then you can learn more about the LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Factory here.
