A Competitive Selection Process

The LEGO BrickLink Designer Program has always been a platform where creativity meets passion. In Series 5, a total of 305 designs from 218 different creators were submitted, each hoping to secure a place in the crowdfunding phase. After careful consideration by the LEGO Group, which also factored in community votes, five sets were selected. Interestingly, while medieval and castle-themed builds dominated the submissions, none of them made the final cut this time.
