LEGO has recently been making character builds of smaller Marvel characters such as I am Groot (76217) and Venomized Groot (76249) and their latest addition to the lineup is Rocket & Baby Groot (76282). The set has 566 pieces and retails for $59.99.
Minifigure
The set does include an exclusive Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 where it is wearing the red outfit.
Build
The build starts off with Rocket’s torso which has a slim profile if you’re looking at it from the side. The top of the torso has some shoulderpads on hinges that doesn’t hinder movement on the arms too much. The blue armor uses sloped tiles to give its shape. The belt has some stickers for the details.
The arms are on ball joints as well as the wrists. The elbows uses just wedge plates so they don’t have any movement at all. The fingers use some teeth pieces and the palm of the hands have clips so he can “hold” the weapons securely. The forearms look a bit too thin and it looks awkward to me.
The waist uses a click pin so it can turn a full 360 degrees but also has some ridgidness so it can stay in position. The belt has a couple of pouches which are also detailed with stickers.
