LEGO Sales & Deals and LEGO Clearance occur at various times and formats depending on the country and LEGO retailer. LEGO sales can be online or physically in-stores at a brick & mortar retailer.

LEGO Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)

Most retailers set their regular prices at manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP). This is the regular price that LEGO recommends retailers to sell LEGO products at. 

Retailers however have the discretion to mark them up or down. You can see the official prices for the LEGO sets at the official LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia) online store. 

Toys R Us in Canada for some happen typically marks up most of their LEGO set prices. This can range anywhere from 5-15% higher than the suggested retail price set by LEGO.

Most retailers sell their LEGO products at manufacturer suggested retail prices with the occasion of putting some of them on sale at various times.

LEGO Sales, LEGO Deals & LEGO Clearances

There are LEGO sales that are advertised on flyers and mailers and there are also sales that occur randomly. Occasionally, there may be LEGO clearances after seasonal holiday periods like Easter in April or the Year-End Sale.

These are great times for LEGO shopping and buying LEGO products as you’ll get a good LEGO bargain and deal. Some big box merchants like Target or Wal-Mart also may have LEGO sales as advertised on their weekly flyers.

Amazon Prime Days – LEGO Deals

Every year, Amazon has Prime Days. This is a massive big savings event throughout the entire Amazon store. Other retailers like Wal-Mart US & Canada and Target US try to compete by offering their own massive deals as well.

Typically, Amazon Prime Days happens in Summer July and in Autumn October. The Amazon Prime Days usually only last two days and is available only for those with paid Prime membership. 

A good selection of LEGO toys are usually discounted heavily during Amazon Prime Days. There may be LEGO Amazon lightning deals (very limited time specials) as well.

LEGO Insiders Weekend Promotion & Sales

LEGO Insiders Weekend typically happens one week before the LEGO Black Friday sales happen at LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia). 

You can expect LEGO Insider Rewards Points Promos, Sale on Selected LEGO Sets, LEGO Insiders offers and more. These could be things like LEGO Sweepstakes, LEGO Gift with Purchase GWP, Double LEGO Insider Reward Points and more.

LEGO Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sales

LEGO Black Friday Sales are one of the biggest sales of the year. It originated from the United States but is now observed worldwide.

Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving Holiday in the United States. Usually, there are massive savings and discounts from various retailers before the official start of the holiday Christmas shopping season.

In addition to LEGO Black Friday Sales, as mentioned earlier, LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia) normally has a LEGO Insiders Weekend Sale before Black Friday as well.

At LEGO Shop at Home, there are usually offers such as Double LEGO Insiders Reward Points, LEGO sale on selected sets or freebie promotional LEGO gift (GWP Gift with Purchase) after spending a minimum purchase threshold.

The LEGO Insiders Rewards Center may have some promotional discounts as well too.

LEGO Boxing Day Sales / Post-Christmas Year End Sale

LEGO Boxing Day Sales are the post-Christmas LEGO Sales that usually happens in Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand (Commonwealth Nations). The official day for Boxing Day is December 26 which is the day after Christmas. There are usually various LEGO sets discounted at various retailers that sell LEGO.

For those in the US, they usually have a Post-Christmas LEGO Year End Sale. It’s typically not as big as LEGO Boxing Day in Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand though.

Free Shipping or Free In-Store Pickup

Most retailers that sell online offer free shipping to your home when you reach a minimum purchase threshold. It is ideal that you reach this threshold as shipping fees does add up.

Some retailers that have physical brick & mortar stores offer free in-store pickup as well.

Cashback Sites – Rakuten

Rakuten (USA | Canada) offers cashback on many different retailers and vendors.

In the USA, these include merchants like Wal-Mart, Target, Barnes & Nobles, Kohls, Old Navy, JC Penney, Nordstorm, eBay and more.

In Canada, they include merchants like Canadian Tire, Hudson’s Bay, Best Buy, Home Depot, SportChek, H&M, eBay and more.

Usually, the bigger the retailer, the smaller the cashback percentages. The smaller the retailer, the more cashback percentage that you get. Sometimes they do have promotions where you can earn more cashback.

Note that cashback percentages and categories do change from time to time. Also, some retailers like Target US doesn’t even offer cashback on toys but they do in other categories. 

Basically, you have to click through their shopping link and make a purchase in order to get your cashback. The cashback percentages for each merchant are listed on their website.
