The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray is a rare and highly collectible car whose design was inspired by marine life. The distinctive split-window, only appearing in the 1963 model, was meant to serve as a spine-like element. It allowed the folded crease of the tumblehome to run uninterrupted from the roof to the rear of the car.
