As part of last year’s celebration of Disney’s 100th Anniversary, LEGO® Ideas asked fans to create a set inspired by Disney fairytales. It was then revealed that the ‘Disney Magic’ set by fan designer 2A2A had been chosen to become a new LEGO Ideas set. Now, thanks to a Greek-certified LEGO retailer and shared by Jay’s Brick Blog, images of the final set have been revealed. Now dubbed the ‘Magic of Disney’ it doesn’t stray too far from the fan design, with a brick-built version of Scorer’s Apprentice Mickey surrounded by mini scenes taken from several Disney classics. It seems the LEGO Design Team have used the opportunity to include some new minifigures, many partnering with previously available characters. These include Geppeto, Belle, Lilo and Bruno, although we shouldn’t talk about him. Other characters include Sebastian, Flounder and Simba plus the magic brooms from Fantasia.
