After being reviewed a little longer than normal, the Pixar Luxo Jr Lamp project by fan designer T0BY1KENOBI25150 has finally been approved and will now become a future LEGO® Ideas set. Inspired by the star of one of Pixar’s early animated shorts, Luxo Jr has since become part of Pixar’s animated opening logo. The set’s approval is nicely timed as the LEGO version of Luxo Jr appears at the start of the new LEGO Pixar BrickToons shorts, which are now streaming on Disney+.
