Could Legend of Zelda LEGO® sets be on the horizon? It’s highly possible as Nintendo has announced the development of a live-action film based on the long-running games series. The Legend of Zelda film will be developed in partnership with Sony Pictures. This follows the success of bringing Mario to the big screen, in Universal Pictures and Illumination’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie. It’s still a long way off but the LEGO Group have been seeking inspiration from video games for more and more sets recently, including Nintendo’s Mario and Animal Crossing series. The Legend of Zelda has often inspired fans to create projects based on the game for LEGO Ideas. The fact, that there will now be a Legend of Zelda film makes the possibility of LEGO sets much more likely.
